and could use another nap.
Nix’s brows furrowed in confusion. Humans were such confusing creatures to him. They’re not as stupid as he thought. Still stupid, but not as stupid. They do seem to be more complex than he believed..but in a simple way somehow.
↬ Embarrassed by it? That’s odd. I’ve come across a shore before where there were nothing but naked people. They had nothing on at all..
To Nix, it was as if they were trying to be as naked as possible without actually being naked some times with the tiny pieces of fabric they’d picked out to cover themselves with.
↬ I don’t understand them at all..Why do they feel the need to complicate things?
“Must be different with some branches of humans.. The ones I have spoken to become very red and cover themselves. I have seen-,” He leaned closer to Nix, “one of the males wearing what I suppose was very tight women’s undergarments and a pair of… artificial animal ears. It was very strange and impractical.” Taryn shook his head, he’d have to ask one of those beings later. He was trying his best to blend in.

↬ Fantastic.
He blinked, looking down at the others hand when it touched his hair. He, too, took a lock in his own, skin almost a sickly pale color in comparison to the dark hair. Then he nodded, dropping his hand when it touched Taryn’s. He smiled at him.
↬ I won’t forget..Come on.
Then he thought of something.
↬ Those humans — the males.. They wear these..shorts to the ocean.. Specifically made for swimming. While the girls wear revealing pieces looking just like their underwear..I don’t understand it, do you? Should we wear them, too?
His eyebrows shot up in surprise and then furrowed in confusion. He hadn’t been swimming anytime the humans had, but when he still lived in the ocean, he had seen such garments. Taryn hadn’t realized they were made specifically for swimming though, he assumed they were too lazy to take their clothing off beforehand. “Why would they need such things..? Wouldn’t it just hinder them?” He blinked as he thought it over. “Ah! Wait. I think humans are embarrassed by nakedness. I have spoken with some and that seems to be the case..”

He looked down as his feet when he stepped out, trying to steady himself nicely before walking anywhere; his feet were still weird. It was much different than his tail.
When he felt level, he looked up to see Taryn looking at him. He cocked his head to the side a bit, deciding on whether to ask about it or not when Taryn spoke. He blinked, looking down at the towel. He nodded, reaching out for it and then wrapping it around himself.
↬ Alright. Meet me downstairs, then. Unless you’d like to help me pick out my clothes?
Which would be a smarter idea since he took forever to get dressed.
His hands clapped together excitedly, a large smile spreading across his face. “I’ll assist you, Prince!” Taryn slid down from his perch on the counter top and walked so he was standing in front of Nix. “Don’t forget to dry your hair,” He reached out, grabbing a long, wet lock between his fingers. Running his hand through it, Taryn admired to color, a dark midnight that contrasted with his steely silver.

“Ah, I suppose they can be, but usually waves are quite cooperative,” He grinned, studying the other’s appearance, “The people did? Are you some sort of God to them?”
“That is only because the one who controls them remains calm.” ┅Lugia pondered for a moment. Though he had the ability to manipulate storms, Lugia hardly saw himself as a god. However his power has forced himself into this cave. After a few more seconds of thinking he shook his head.┅ “I’m not sure if I would consider myself a god. The humans tend to acknowledge me as the ‘Beast of the Sea’ or ‘Guardian of the Seas’. Though I believe they named me for the simple purpose of classification.”
“I am honored to meet the Guardian of the Seas then,” Taryn bowed slightly at the waist to pay his respects. Maybe Lugia was not quite a god, but he was someone Taryn would hold in high regard. “Do you go by Lugia?”

“I see. Those waves are rather troublesome at times.” ┅The beast blinked at the stranger’s reply. Wondering if it was strange of him to live in a cave between the whirlpools. ┅ “I don’t really have a name, though people of this world have dubbed me Lugia.”
“Ah, I suppose they can be, but usually waves are quite cooperative,” He grinned, studying the other’s appearance, “The people did? Are you some sort of God to them?”

“Greetings stranger. What brings you to my home?”
“The directions of the waves maybe? I wasn’t expecting to see anyone.. I’m Taryn, who are you?”

“Hello… Taryn is my name. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Human filth.
